What are we doing?: going on an educational global year long trip
Where are we going?: first we will travel around America
- National parks including Rocky Mountains, Yellowstone and Glacier!
- A dozen or so states + Canada (a tiny bit)
- Cool places
- Exclusive activities
Then we will go out of the country and the continent!
- All continents except South America, Antarctica and Africa
- Amazing sights
- Exclusive activities
- Cool things
All of this will be posted right here on this blog and I think it would be fun to follow our story so please do! Also it would be appreciated if you could share your opinion about this blog!
What am I excited about?: Hawaii is definitely one place that I am really excited about because I am going to be so warm and we will see a volcano. We will probably go to the beach and go surfing – I hope! I’m also really excited because I am going to take karate there and I am very nervous but I think I will do fine because I am a third kyu brown belt. I am also excited about meeting my friend Jackson and his family in Australia just after Christmas.
What am I sad about?: leaving my friends – but at least I can Email them; all the stuff I would like to bring but can’t, because I have to pack very lightly. Anyway that is what we will be doing for a year, so please follow us and comment feedback. We will keep posting blog posts like this telling you where we are and what we are doing.

I love reading about your journey from your perspective! It’s exciting to see the pictures and get an idea of where you are. I can’t wait to see and read more! When I see Calvin, I’ll show him your post and he can have a chance to comment. We miss you and are so excited for you and your adventure!!
